PFS Optimises its eWORK Model with More Sustainable and Collaborative Offices in Madrid and Valencia
This model reduces the carbon footprint by 94% and enhances employee well-being
Bilma Building: New Headquarters for the PFS Group in Madrid
Madrid, 4 November 2024 – The PFS Group has relocated its main offices in Madrid and Valencia, aligning them with its Efficient Work (eWork) model, which has revolutionised the way its more than 500 employees work by integrating flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability as fundamental pillars.
The eWORK model has demonstrated that the physical office is no longer essential for maintaining high productivity levels. According to Jorge Giner, CFO and Deputy CEO of PFSTECH, the physical office is no longer a fundamental requirement for achieving maximum efficiency. “Our employees’ freedom to choose their workplace has been key to improving productivity and job satisfaction,” says Giner.
This system allows employees to work from anywhere and enjoy flexible hours tailored to their needs and tasks. Through the eWORK tool, developed in-house, employees can organise and manage their goals, facilitating team coordination and enhancing overall efficiency.
New Offices: More Sustainable and Collaborative Spaces
The new PFS offices, better connected by public transport, provide easier access for employees and reduce the use of private vehicles, significantly contributing to lowering the carbon footprint. These premises, redesigned to foster collaborative work both on-site and remotely, are more efficient and feature unassigned workstations, enabling resource optimisation and reducing energy consumption.
The new headquarters in Madrid is located in the Bilma Building in Las Tablas (Calle María Tubau nº9), a building designed by Rafael de la Hoz, which received a “Special Mention” from the Madrid City Council in 2002 for its modern and sustainable corporate architecture. In Valencia, the offices are situated on the central Avenida Blasco Ibañez nº8, mezzanine level, similarly focused on space optimisation and efficient access.
“With these office changes, we continue advancing our ESG strategy, promoting more sustainable and responsible work practices. In addition to having reduced our carbon footprint by 94%, we have achieved higher productivity, lower employee turnover, more equitable working conditions, and much happier employees,” adds María García, Head of ESG for the group.
This strategy reinforces PFS’s commitment to sustainability, contributing to improving employee well-being and protecting the environment.
